Bruce Springsteen 96 Tears Atlanta 4/26/09 LIVE (From Pit)
Stump the Band fails to stump the E Street Band once again in Atlanta, although you can see Bruce looking down at the Teleprompter that Obama lent him for the show…

Thanks for sharing. I was at the show too, but almost didn’t get your upload. I searched by date, and you have 4/25/09 in the title. Should be 4/26/09. Lots of people will be searching for your great uploads. Thanks again!

LOL! I love Bruce’s sweet little goofy dances, I think the greatest living rock n roll artist in the world may have two left feet, but I think it’s adorable!

This was only the second time they’ve done “96 Tears” at an E Street Show; the first was on 7-18-03 at Giants Stadium when Garland Jeffreys guested on vocals (so they had rehearsed it). I was there for that one and didn’t think they’d likely ever do that song again, but that was before the era of the SIGNS. (Maybe someone should request “Signs” by the Five Man Electrical Band as an homage to this new addition to the show!)

bruce. timeless. period.
whether its 1977, 1984, 1992, 2009
never has an artist still held his popularity, talent, and relevance.

I thought that was an awesome period in his work! And the Human Touch and Lucky Town albums are really underrated. . .
