i’m very new to the world of YouTube, as this is my first posted video. in hindsight, i realize i should have included a disclaimer as part of the video, and therefore have decided to post one now.
i apologize to those involved with LAAFF who are concerned that viewers might interpret LAAFF or Michael Moody to be endorsing Ron Paul’s Presidential campaign — no such implication was intended.

confirming my intent, this video is in no way connected with LAAFF and Michael Moody, during his valiant attempt to set a new world’s record for riding the tallest bicycle.
PS: i hope Michael’s knee heals perfectly, so he can give it another go next year!

PPS: i also forgot to mention that this video is in no way connected with the official Ron Paul campaign — we’re just Americans who are very concerned with the state of our nation.

Neither Mr. Mooney nor anyone connected with LAAFF are due any apologies. In fact, they should send you a box of chocolates in exchange for the free publicity you have given them…
September 20th, 2007 at 6:33 pm
Mr. Mooney and LAAFF organizers did their best to maximize publicity for the festival and the tallest bike ride and get as many eyes on this event as possible. You have given both more exposure that they anticipated and they should be grateful to you. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them asking for YOUR permission next year to use clips from your video for a promotion…
September 20th, 2007 at 6:33 pm
Without your video, and the hard work that went into it, people who did not attend the event themselves would have to rely on second-hand reports and brief news stories in print media to have any idea of what happened. You have mixed your labor with a public event and have created a new value that is of greater worth than eyewitness accounts…
September 20th, 2007 at 6:34 pm
I understand that viewers might misconstrue the intent of the video and conclude that Mr. Mooney and LAAFF endorse Ron Paul. As this is possible and not the intent, I should think a mild and matter-of-fact disclaimer to that effect should clear matters up:…
September 20th, 2007 at 6:42 pm
“This video compilation of a public event reflects only the viewpoint of the producer and should not be interpreted as an endorsement of Ron Paul by any individuals or events filmed.”

jesus I need cliff notes for all these comments. What did he land on? I can’t see anything

yeah, with the lousy video compression that YouTube did on my finished video it’s extremely difficult to see. it was a piece of rebar stuck in the middle of the parking lot for “safety reasons” which have never been explained. my opinion is that it was a very bad idea.

Oh Mr. Love, I am SO sorry to see that. Kitty told me all about it at the last Triboriginal. Hope it mended alright! My love to her and the kids.
